| Its.....at the risk of sounding cliche, comfortable. People come and see me, and bring me coffee or something cool they know I'd like. I love tips! :) Many friends who hug me, and people I know and like.. Homemade dragon curtains on the windows, beaded and everything... There are 4 stations for tattooing.. I and my friends built it. :) The shop. My second home!! I am American woman! :) |

| Me.....Sara, tattooer extraordinaire.... maybe, :)AKA mom, sister, daughter and taiko drumming wannabe.. ?....then there's Mikey, aka Stinky or Mr. Stink (NOT because he is) just crisp "clean-line" Mikey... and Amanda girl, aka the organizer of Sara's schedule and general spreader of good cheer.....tattoos part time. Randi floats on in now and then and lights the place up with her giggle. :)She doesnt tattoo, but she sure does give a great massage, and helps out a bunch... All of us love tattoos, peanut butter and jelly, and most people. And we all miss Dean, who left us in Dec and moved away, even though I TOLD him he couldnt. :) Come back dammit. |

| Hi Sara. As infrequent as my visits to InkedNation are these days, none would be complete without stopping by the coolest shop in St. Albans, Vermont. Summer is kicking into high gear here at the Crystal Coast. Water is getting warmer by the day, the sun shines until 9:00 at night and the beach keeps calling me. One more sitting to finish the sleeve I started a few months ago, 2 weeks to heal and it's back to surfing. So. How are you? |

Hello my friend. Mercury has hit my life in full force - lots of change, being chafed a bit around the seams... but it's all good. Slowly starting to prioritise what needs doing... Enjoying the new place very much.
Also planting - lettuce, chives, flowers (-: Alas, my gardener's from Malawi - so not quite up to "your man's" high standard.
I think of you often, although the writing's dried up a bit.. Life works in cycles, so I'm sure to catch up again soon...
Arm's taking a bit of time to heal around the "bendy bit" - but the colour's exceptional. It'll be my last piece from Milo for the foreseeable future - so it's beauty is also tinged with sadness.... Us tattoo groupies get way too attached sometimes... be warned (-;

How was your mother's day?
I dressed in my best dress & my sister & I went off to the empire cafe to have lattes & chocolate mousse cake - in celebration of my mom.. I'm sure that looking down on us she was well pleased (-:

Hooray! I'm so glad your package arrived! And even more pleased that the 2 of you are enjoying "your stuff"! Is it my imagination, or does the snail mail seem to be moving faster between us? All's good then!
Tomorrow's my official moving day - Liz is supervising the move & i'll be flying home in the evening.. It's the start of a new chapter.
Went out to dinner tonight with a client & work colleague - ran into my ex, his new parter & their baby. Introductions all round, pleasant chatting & then moved on. How odd that 10 years can be erased so quickly, a connection cast in stone no longer registering even a twitch of longing.
How interesting this human condition is, after all.

hey!
no...my mom has a rare lung cancer and is going in for major sugery (removing one of her two left lobes, of the lung). I am praying and hoping all will be ok after. recovery is 4-6 mths...
I'm not ready to let her go yet lol...i want to give her grand kids...and we dont plan on really trying till this fall...
I am gonna have to book some time with you this summer :)
I wrote this, with my moms situation in mind (because aside from learning she has cancer, we lost my grandfater suddenly in Jan(her father) and she is going through a seperation as well....its been crazy times) and i am thinking of getting it inked on my inner bicep...hhhmmm

hello missy! i had issues connecting to the site - so eventually i just gave up! hmm - nothing quite like perseverence eh???
what did the finished bike end up looking like? hopefully you took a pic to post? i'm still mightely impressed by your extensive artistic ability...
also can't wait for the next shipment of happy surprises to be delivered to you! probably another week or so... because of all the public holidays.

Hello & good morning! My move stuff's been settled - I'm moving next week (or rather, my very kind sister is supervising the move - as i'll be in JHB) We're getting excited now - looking forward to our new space - I'll send you some pics (of the spare room - HINT HINT)
We will also be adopting a 3-year old husky called Gita! Her owners are emigrating to New Zealand (and are our new landlords) - and she loved us when we went to look at the place... So, there'll be a new dog for Tiger to terrorise soon...
It's a public holiday here today (we're voting) - hugs for you & J-girl. What's news on your side?
