topic: Metric Rides in OC

I live in Fullerton and own an 06' Honda VTX600CD and i have to say aside from the fact that the stock pipes suck dick.... its been a pretty faithful bike. i have beaten the piss out of it and it still rides fuckin great, with little maintenance it pulls strong and runs clean.
first problem ive run into- there are these steel rod inserts with little rubber insulators inside the grip end of the clutch side of the bars. its about 8 inches long and the grommet towards the center went fruit i think because every time i put it back in it rattles incessantly at aroun 30 MPH.
i think im going to throw some silicone adhesive to keep the grommet attached to the rod this time, so aside form that not a single problem on this bike and i ride EVERYDAY. i dont own a car at all. 9,800 miles on the bike in 8 months.
if anybody in the OC rides and wants to join me on the occasional trips i take out to cooks or the coast let me know.

LAME! The links didn't work.
You'll have to copy and paste the addresses into your brouser and go from there. I'm sure they'll get the bugs worked outa here in the future.

Hey bro!
Here's a link I think you'll like!
http://www.dirtysouthchoppers.com/triumph.html
It's my friend Mike's shop: Dirty South Choppers, and that's John's Trump chop. It's insane!
I know you're looking into doing a bobber, but I know that you'll appreciate a wickid Triumph when ya see it.
The other place to check into all this stuff is:
http://www.chopperweb.net
Hopefully, you'll find everything ya need!

does anyone know anything about triumph bobbers, and cheap(costing) ways too do them? or any informative websites? im thinking of getting a new bonneville balck and making it a bobber, or is it even possible? some pics would be cool as well.

I've got this all over the internet already . . . Why not put it on here as well?! haha
The MM is the place to be if you build, ride, or just enjoy 'metric' bikes. The group is for ALL style rigs, not just chops!
Have a blast here and make sure to post pics of your rides! Also feel free post project info, pics, etc.
The pic page is finally up and running!
Enjoy!
