i think ur descridbing something more abstract than a specific object...not too familiar with alternative healing but i think of chakras as orbs(7 chakras,right?)... maybe different colored orbs swimming around in a flowy bacjground...just an idea... |

1. I'm a nurse, but also interested in alternative medicine (reiki, chakras, energy, healing stones...etc) would like an idea of something to do with that - the best i could come up with so far would be a lotus with maybe the chakra colors. Or intermixing the basic elements (earth, air, fire, water).
2. something to represent my Italian side (besides a flag, or the boot.)

They gave you the advice you need on the forum:
find someone in your area to work WITH you, artists generally take a deposit towards the tattoo before they start dishing out their creative juices.
I could give you a few ideas but I don't know you, nor will I be tattooing you, so why not tell you some BS just to see if you'll do it? |

i am wanting to do a quarter sleeve or even just a shoulder arm piece in reference to my son and going through a lot of hardships. i have the general idea layed out and was looking for some better artists than my self (preferably somone who specializes in Flash) to give me some pointers or touch up some of my ideas to make them better. |

The heart was flash but I picked the colors and had my kids' names added on. Then went back and gave my artist an idea of what I wanted and he drew out and inked the rest. |

The butterflies on my shoulders were flash and I had stuff freehanded to add on to them. The phoenix is a custom piece drawn by my husband and inked by my neighbor. I'm going to wait until my husband finishes his apprenticeship and then I'm going to let him color it in. I'm going to be drawing the additions that are going under my lower back tribal and up and over my hips myself so it's going to take me a long time to get them to the point where I want them tattooed on me. I'm very picky about my artwork. |

Depends on if you want it old school or new school style. If you like old school, a banner underneath would look really classy and traditional. If you like new school, I'd say Luckylotus is on to something. |

I in the planning stages of a new tatt and I wanted some one other than mine's opinion... and I know it is going to be on my body blah blah blah...but I just want some additional input.
I am planning to get a heart that is bruised and beaten looking, maybe starting to split, with crossbones behind it. I going to get it on my hip, so it will be a pretty good sized tatt. I want to get a banner or something with DTA in it. But I'm not sure where to place it, etc.
Anyone want to sound off his/her opinion? |
