I have my nipple pierced and it was no where near as bad as I thought. people are like OMG it hurts so bad. My opinion I liked it it's one of my favorite piercings. aftercare is something I have never heard of it's called witch hazel. You find it easy here try rite aid, it's a numbing agent and afterwords if you take good care of it, healing is fast give or take 3 to 4 months before full touching and playing with them so give it a shot |

I've got each nipple done twice.... i didn't think it hurt too much but everyone deals with pain differently.... but i would advise you to use barbels they heal faster and dont get snagged on things as easily |

I had mine done about a month ago, it was painful, but not a bad pain!! I've had more painful piercings for sure. Aftercare can be time consuming, but so far sensitivity is UP!!! I call that a win win. |

Have decided to get my nipples pierced. Very happy with Nikki K doing my frenums recently and will go back to her. My pain tolerance is reasonable, but we'll see...
delerium759, too bad for your ex's. I asked my wife to get her nipples pierced several years ago and she did, now stretching them a little. She says it didn't change sensitivy at all, but I like how the look, nipples and piercings. |

nipples pierced about 2 years ago...Pain wasnt bad on the first one.but the second one i got a little to relaxed and it hurt bad. But the pain is like a feel good pain ....not like oh shit i just broke my leg pain...But when you wake up in the morning they are really sore and they turn so you will need to adjust them right....that is the worst part....... |

i had a problem with the ones from metal mafia balancing. the ones from microdermal.com are easier to place if you use a punch and taper method. they cost more, but heal soooooooomuch better. |

I currently have 9 x regular lobe piercings with 2 x 10mm tunnels, 7 x ear cartilage piercings, 1 x scaffold, 1 x inner conch, 1 x tragus, 2 x eyebrow, 2 x nostril, 2 x septum, double snakebites, 1 x labret, 1 x medussa, 1 x madonna, 2 x tongue, 1 x queen christina, 1 x princess diana, 1 x labia, 4 x nipple, 3 x navel, 1 x hand, 1 x hand web
Would anyone recommend a horozontal tongue? I have done every type of piercing but this one!! And I always like to do them on myself before I do other people... I was wondering if it was comfortable to wear or whether it's easy to do.. there's a few veins in there I'd rather not hit!! :) |

I have been doing piercings for 15 years and have yet to do a cheek piercing( that goes along with living in a small town),However piercing procedurally are gone about the same way.So pick a piercier who has been around for awhile and has a good reputation. |

i have both of mine done and it was definitely different than my other piercings. as far as sensitivity goes... they're much more sensitive now definitely glad i got em. they've been my most enjoyed piercings by me and my, uh, friends. didn't have any real problems with healing or anything else though. but everyone takes differently... |

Peoples healing and pain tolerances differ. A three day rule is not a standard. But I would not rule out an improperly placed piercing, possibly an infection or shitty jewelery ( metal allergy)or sensitivity..
Most women that I have done hood piercings on, have not had any pain except for the occasional " Damn I forgot I got Pierced wiping thing" A little ouch but not A consistent pain.
Without seeing the piercing in its current state, its pretty hard to know if it was done correctly or if it looks like there is an infection. Infection indicators= Hot to the touch, fever, yellowish or greenish discharge (puss from the piercing site)
If you have a problem showing pix of your piercing and you are worried you should consult a doctor.
If there is an infection or you suspect one YOU SHOULD NOT REMOVE THE JEWELRY ON YOUR OWN!! Have it replaced by a reputable piercer, in the event of poor quality jewelry or metal allergy's
THE RISK OF ABSCESSES OR CYSTS.THE INFECTION NEEDS A DRAINAGE POINT.
I hope every thing works out for ya!

Its day three and the guy who pierced me said that it would probably stop hurting by now... it hasnt it hurts just as bad as day 1. Also when I first got it done it didnt bleed or anything, day two it didnt either, and now day 3 it started to bleed when I went to clean it. I dont know if this is normal or not and I'm scared of infection. Can anyone tell me how to really take care of this piercing cuz I've been doing everything the guy told me to do! |
