I Love hunting ducks and geese. we have alot of area to hunt where I live. It is probably my favorite, I don't get to do it that often because of time. Takes a lot more work than big game. But still love it

And to be honest the gun and caliber doesn't matter, it is the hunter and is shot. You can have a .460 S&W mag ( I do, total blast to shoot!!!) and miss your kill shot, and just blow off a leg and make the animals final moments complete misery, or you can use a damn well aimed .22 mag shot and kill your prey instantly. It's the shooter not the gun. Also, remember you pack too much punch for your prey and you can destroy the meat, therefore killing it for nothing!

Got my informational packet from the Lake Wappapelo Area department here in Missouri. They sent me a map with their problems areas outlined and some info. No bag limit, shoot on site they say. My father, son and I will be heading that way as soon as we can get a chance. Anyone here have any wild hog experience?

I belive your not under gunned. You've been succesful taking game with the weapons you have. Our goal as hunters is to take game as humanely as possiable,it appears as if your doing just that.I use the best weappons i can afford, adjust my set-up for that weapon and enjoy my time in the field.

Woke up this morning to my dog growling at something out the window. I looked out to see a Seneca white deer buck (I live in Seneca County, NY) and a regular whitetail locking horns in the back field about 75 yards from the house. If it was just a touch lighter out, I could have gotten a picture. Nice way to start the morning.

i came to the realization i am under-gunned with the 357 mag
i obtained my 1st magnum in 1979 and that 1st year the astra accounted for two whitetail doe and several javelina i beleive its still in the family somewhere
by 1982 i had a brand new colt trooper with it i claimed a slew of javies hogs deer and sundry varmits sadly i got broke and sold that shooter
last year i trade'd for a ruger blackhawk with it ive taken a hog and flipped a few rabbits
im undergunned but i look foreward to agian gitting close placing my shot and bringing home the meat
