It never hurts to research anything further. If you are keeping them in the same cage, they will eventually breed. The female laying eggs like that is a good thing. If she never lays eggs, she could die from calcium build up.

Hey new to the group
I have a high yellow male bearded I've been raising since hatched. Just got a pretty female tokay about four days ago. She was pretty vicious at first, but I've already got her to the point where she'll let me pet her in the cage. I'm looking for rhino iguanas, and chinese big headed turtles.

2 Jeweled Curly-Tailed lizards (Jules and Vincent)

Also, I just recently lost my True Fire Skink, Metallica. He was my favorite, the most beautiful lizard I've had so far.

Hiya....just joined this group... looks kinda slow, but maybe we can get some posts going.

What all do you keep?

I breed cornsnakes mainly, and currently have 30+ keepers, babies due any day now.
Pair of Brazilian Rainbow Boa's
Mexican Black King
California King ( desert phase)
Pair of normal balls
Colombian BCI

5 leopard gecko's
2 female bearded dragons

2 aquariums.

Here's a pic for starters, of me and one of my corns.

Just joined the Nation and this is my first group. lol
I have been keeping herps all my life. I worked at a zoo in their reptile house for a while and now work at a museum. I also rescue herps in my spare time. Currently I am keeping 3 cornsnakes, 1 sinaloian milk snake, a crested gecko, a bearded dragon, a savanah monitor, and a russian tortoise.

I have reptile tattoos, including my crested gecko tattooed around and on my ear.

Hey everyone. Just new here. I've got a question for anyone who has or has had corn snakes. I've got two myself, a male and a female that are coming up on two years old now (the female being maybe a month younger). Has anyone kept a male and a female together without breeding? About a year ago while I was out of town, my husband found that our female had laid three deflated eggs. It was really suprising because she was way too young!! We were told that unless we were trying, they wouldn't breed but I'm concerned now that they're getting older. Think we should read up on it and get an incubator?

Thanks,
PeNNy LaNe

Looking to get back into breeding herps in the near future. Anyone have any specific herps they would like to see breed. I am thinking Chondros because I like them but others have favorites too.
