That's tough....It's a tie between two shows for me....
I saw the Killers in Philly a couple of months ago and they were amazing. Played awesome, engaged the audience of about 12,000 full on. Nice to hear a band sound as good live as they do on CD.
A few years ago I saw Tool while they were doing the Lateralus tour in Oakland, CA. They had all the art/visuals on screens, which most of was created by Adam their guitarist....amazing fucking show....blew my mind for sure. |

Bright Eyes at the performing arts center in Tampa way phenomenal but the Dresden dolls at Tampa theatre is by far the most incredible show that I've been to not just recently but ever. it's really amazing to see a band that is not only a group ( or in this case a duo) of musicians but a group of performers as well. Amanda and Brian just have this presence that makes you want to watch them for hours and a hours and hours. during their encore they did mein herr from cabaret and it was so fantastic. i was thrilled that i hadn't passed up that opportunity because i didn't have anyone to go with. |

Hi, I am new to this Group, and I thought about a topic, where everyone posts his/her alltime favorite album, so show your rare goddies, that we others can enjoy them, too
My Best Album is: DJ-Kicks from Kruder&Dorfmeister Label STUD!O K7
In the web you may found something like DJ-Kicks NR1-4, only NR.1 is the Original

I have been to so many amazing shows, this question is difficult. I'll have to say Soundgarden at the Roxy in Atlanta, 1991. One of my first mosh pits, and it was insane when my friend hopped on stage, hugged Chris Cornell, and proceeded to dive in the crowd. We were just a couple of young girls from Athens, Georgia and we ruled that show. I just can't leave without mentioning the first Lollapalooza- Jane's Addiction brought such an intensity that I feel changed forever because of that experience. |

CLUTCH always puts on an incredible show! But to boil down all the incredible shows that I've seen to the one that stands out the most?...
...can't do it. I instantly have at least a dozen shows come to mind. I guess each show for each moment in time gets the 'Best Ever' mark |

>i would say anything that isnt using traditional musical equip, like for instance hip hop, industrial, techno, all that kind of stuff normally sucks
You just have to see the right bands, most Industrial bands that I've seen put on a way better show with the most audience participation compared to all kinds of rock, punk, metal all that awsome shit. Go check out KMFDM, Pigface, Revolting Cocks, My Life with the Thrill Kill Cult, Lords of Acid, Chemlab...shit man, start there and tell me you don't have a frickin' exstatic experience. All these bands use traditional equipment, they might add in a few extras, but the main sound is made on the same insturments that any other would band use, they just play them in a different style. |

Not true. I saw The Roots (hip hop) with 311 (rock), and they play with traditional instruments, and they have turn table sounds that are made by a guy an his mouth. They were pretty amazing. There are many misconceptions about hip hop. |

OH MY FUCKING CHRIST!! I saw my favorite band ever tonight (Alkaline Trio) at Warped Tour. AND they opened with Burn (my favorite song by them) Holy shit they only played for a half hour (there were lots of bands so each one didn't have much time) but i had chills the whole fucking time. OMFG im gonna be riding on how ecstatic this has made me for DAYS. |

The best show I have ever been too was probaly Converge on October 23 '04 @ St.Andrews Hall in Detroit, Michigan. It was my first, and I couldn't have started on a grander note. |

How much time do you have. My first show ever was Day on the green: (Oakland col. A's play there) this was early eighties. Frank Marino and Mahogany rush (i'm way to old right) AC-DC w/ Bon Scott-Ted Nugent-And Aerosmith while they were still on drugs and Rocked. I got to see Randy Rhodes twice-Van Halen w/ Dave about seven or eight times. And my friends Magna-fi played ozzfest a few years back and we got to see Slipknot from the side of the stage. Steve Vai w/ Dave 2x. And the Ramones the best punk band EVER! |

Manchester Apollo, July 2005, Nine Inch Nails. I've never felt so alive or connected to a crowd. If he'd told us to go out there and start a war we would have done it without question. I'll remember that night forever. |

The best show I have ever been to was Otep at the Trocadero in Philadelphia, PA. It was so much more than music. Her energy and her emotions were so intense. Just the way the she carried her self, and how she poured every ounce of herself into her performance was one of the most amazing things I had ever seen and felt. She had the entire crowd in the palm of her hand. |
