still doing my right when i decide what i want...
fuck em ,im me and if it does not suit u....bad luck..
if u get upset with looks and whispers...dont get visible tattoos....or learn to live with it...

I wanted them in my early 20s, but just couldnt afford them. I got my first one at 28, yea and even that one has been covered.
Once I got my first, its kinda been the never ending project. Like most of you, Id expect.. lol |

Maybe I am just getting older and I imagine a increase in the discomfort, but, I think the area around the kneecap especially the inside is a bit of a bitch. I just added to my thigh over the knee down onto my shin and did not really enjoy it. |

My very first tattoo I did on myself convict style with a needle and Indian ink. I was only 13 and decided to tattoo a 13 on my hand as a lucky number and a memorabilia to myself. |

Ive had to have my hand redone/relined 3 times now...hands always heal weird depending on skin, the way you take care of them and usually bhave to have them gone over or redone several times before they look perfect. it's a journey when you do your hands and neck. |

When I had my hands tattooed I had a tough time healing them, they were very scabby and not very attractive. Whenever I paid for something in a shop I could see the cashier recoil in horror as I handed over my money. I felt like a leper.
It was an emotionally difficult period because I'd thought long and hard and made a big commitment and I expected to be really happy with them, hell, I even traveled to another country to get to the right artist.
They healed, looked better, the general public stopped staring at them in disgust and I adjusted. I love them now :)
I think it's so dependent on your own attitude.

got my first one at 17 down in jacksonville nc.zecks was the shop and now i have my whole upper body done and a dam good start on my legs i know i have well over 100 hours in ink any way just wanted to say hello i will get some photos up soon |

I managed to keep all my ink covered as long as I have a T-shirt And shorts on. Its not That I don't want more Ink, Its that I'm currently satisfied with my suit, Maybe one Say I'll legnthen the sleeves...

I find the limiting factor with my ink is what you are allowed to get away with at work.In my job always visible tattoos would definitely be a no no but my answer to that is when my bodysuit is finished and i want to get my hands and throat done which I definitely want I'll have to look for another job even if it pays less money.
The more ink I have the more I want and I have no intention of stopping.
As long as you are comfortable with what youve got
then I dont think it really matters what anyone else thinks ! |

i must have over 200hours of tattooing im fully sleeved to wrist crease back and legs nearly fully covered my chest and belly needs more work after that its my neck and hands even my face what i would like to know does it take long to get used to your own always visible tattoos and how does the general public react |

Yes and no just depends on the mood im in. But the more tattoos i get the more they hurt. i used to be able to sit for 6 or 7 hrs but am ready to quit afteer 3 now |

Ya I was about seven or so. My dad used to work with this ol biker guy that was covered. By that time I was already into art and was just so facinated, knowing that one day that is what i would want to look like. now my dads old co worker would have some catching up to do,lol But yea I was facinated at a vary young age. I used to always draw them on myself and anyone eles that would let me. My parents would get pissed. It got to the point that I would have to ask to draw tattoos on myself. They really got pissed the one time that they said i could draw one so i drew a hole sleeve. hahahahaha |

Question for all my heavily tattooed buddies..did u ever have aperiod when u just didnt feel like getting tattooed?? Im bugged..Its not a money thing..and I got 2 artists asking to ink me..and man..I got my whole back to finish..and my whole left leg is only outlined..but I keep making excuses..just dont feel like being tortured..and then healing..etc...am I sick??? HAHA....I gotta finish guys..give me some encouragment or let me know if this ever has happened to you!! |
