I like St. Pierre and actually would rather see him win. This is no pull for BJ because he isnt my favorite but aside form the stiff jab to St. pierre's face, he had him lookin gassed while BJ looked good throughout. No harm, well see what happens. |

">I agree. There's really NO FUCKIN' WAY Babalu could beat Chuck 4 real but I think it's getting like Boxing in the fact that they just want rematches just 2 have rubber matches. Don't get me wrong. Babalu is an AWESOME fighter but only 1 person could keep Chuck down and he's retired. We'll see. I'm fuckin' beside myself about Chuck fighting Wanderlei Silva though! Silva will be the 1st fighter EVER 2 hold belts in the 2 biggest MMA organizations. Chuck's days r now officially numbered. |

Ive been a fan longer than you need to know about. Sounds like you need to get out from behind that keyboard and do some real sparring instead of this internet assault. In closing, you better pay attention "man". Perhaps everything you see on the screen aint real, ever considered that? |

U say u can't see Matt wantin' 2 fight BJ over Matt huh?! Do u order ANY PPVs and watch the interviews?! He's been sayin' over and over he wants 2 avenge his loss and he's already beaten St. Pierre so he has nothing 2 prove. Did u completely 4get that St. Pierre DOMINATED BJ Penn for 2 out of the 3 rounds when they fought in July?! So if BJ Penn is "supernatural" that must make St. Pierre GOD since he beat him recently. I hate when people spout off incoherent shit cuz they're biased. Pay attention man. How long have u been a fan anyway?
In the last thread, we were discussing to possibiity that the ufc is fixed. Most people seemed to agree and if I remember correctly, you may have been one of them. Therefore, is it possible that Matt Hughes is trying to look tough by gladly accepting the Penn fight? Moreover, perhaps he is forced to take the fight, why would he want to look like a pussy and speak out about it. he roles with the punches, hats the kind of guy he is. Bj Penn made St. Pierre bleed and badly at that. Ive never seen anyone else do that to him. No one is g-d but Bj Penn is more of a threat than St. Pierre. |

Good fight between these guys. Sobral threw lots of punches and some actually landed but Chuck is too experienced to get choked up. He waited for his moment and slipped that hand in there. Sobral was so out he thought big John was his grappling buddy. |

Anyone see the Babalu special? Brazil looks beautiful but they made him look like a lazy ass huh? Ive got my money on Sobral though. Despite Chucks aggression and dominance, hes pitted against a guy whos looking for the spotlight and now has his chance. Hes excellent on the ground, can take hits and looks in better shape than ive ever seen him. That is of course if this whole thing isnt rigged. |

I personally have my money on Liddel. I think that if they are on their feet Liddell will have it by KO but if its submission Bobalu will take it. There is no way liddell could beat him on the ground. Just my opinion. |

I personally think that the UFC got stuck as soon as Rampage signed with WFA. The only big name LHW is Wanderlei Silva, and he is still with PRIDE. While the LHW division is getting better, you have to think that the depth of talen overall in the UFC has gone down. I was watching UFC 47 last night, and I realized that the fights on that card could now be three different cards in the current UFC. I think Babalu is going to get rolled, and like my friend said, the fight to watch will be Silva vs. Liddell. The only problem is that this fight would have been so much better only two years ago. |

Im starting to think the UFC pins fighters against on another with pre-meditated outcomes. I predict Babalu will beat Chuck but only to get a grudge match going as they popularize some of the up and comers so that they have more big ticket fighters. |

I'll be there in spirit. Have a cold one for me. God knows I could use one here in Iraq. As for predictions, I am going with Tito to take Shamrock out, but he better stop this stand up b.s. and get back to the ground and pound. For Silvia vs. Arlovski, I think the Main-e-ac has Arlovski's number. He just needs to snap that jab back and not get caught. Let me know on this page the outcome, as I cant see the UFC from here. Thanks. |

I saw the Silva/Leben fight. They actually showed a part of UFN on Armed Forces Network. That was a wicked knee that took Leben out. Leben just looked totally outclassed, and was wide open trying to swing. He got picked apart, and fast.

I swear I need a chat room to discuss the fights on those two cards. I hope, like you, that Menne beats the hell out of Koscheck. Shit, Koscheck gassed in his last fight and tapped for god's sake. Menne has sick jiu-jitsu (to quote Joe Rogan) and I think he will outclass Koscheck easily. As for the Yves Edwards fight, it is good to see him back in UFC. He was good in Pride, but in the Octagon, he is the man at 155. I think Florian wouldn't have the skills against his strikes, and kicks especially. |

My Dark Lord,
I kneel and bow at the information you have provided me, LOL. So Florian by sub in the first round over Stout. Damn, Lightweight seems to be a good fit for him. Also, when does Tito go against Ken? And is it the same UFC as Sylvia vs. Arlovski 3? Thanks again.

Hey all,
I am a Soldier stuck in Iraq with no access to UFC. Needless to say I am like an addict without the fix. I currently have UFC 43-48 on DVD. If you could just keep this board updated with the fights so I can read in on it, I would appreciate it a ton.
