I'm madly in love with 'The Gossip' and 'The Electrocutes', who are not to be confused with 'Electrocute', at this moment in time. Electrocute is also pretty fun, but they are not very hard at all.

I'm currently fronting a band right now. http://www.myspace.com/conversationswithmusic
which I'm in with my best friend Ken (http://www.inkednation.com/myboxersrcool) and I've been compared to the lead singer of Flyleaf, vocally (which I find...odd.) I have a deep admiration for female fronted bands (old-school Sneaker Pimps, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Sounds, Nightwish) and have always thought fronting a band would be a dream that would never happen.
It's so awesome :) |

We dont have any MP3s up yet. We will hopefully record something in the next couple of months. Its been hard to keep a good handle on all the members. Right now Lily and I are the most dedicated in the band. We have written all the music and lyrics. We just lost one of are members and are possibly going to lose another. If we lose this next guy I think Lily and I are going to try to get an all chick band going seeing that chicks seem to be more dedicated. Being Founder of the CBC helps but most of the following is in Chicago right now. I added your band on Myspace. Sounds fucking wicked. |

So Ladies what kind of music do you like to play, sing, bounce around to?
I am more into the more brutal sounds whether it just be really heavy instrumental/voice, or really heavy lyrically. I am in a band called "Tramps and Thieves" Based out of Indianapolis, IN. We have kind of an older Jack Off Jill sound to us. Mix in a little punk. We are close to recording but have actually recently lost one of our members and its looking like we might lose another one so our recording dates have been pushed back.
As of right now I am Lucy Lesque - Vocalist, bass guitar, and drums. And also playing with me is my dearest friend Muffy(AKA Lily) - Bass Guitar, Guitar, Vocals. And my roomie Josh on Guitar and Drums. Although it doesnt look like Josh will be with us much longer.
Thought this would be fun to get the ball rolling in this group. |
