I am Interested in Traveling (Guest Spots) |
Hello, my name is Anthony "Meatloaf" Benavides. I have been a Full Time Body Piercer for 6 solid years. I started my career with a formal apprenticeship under Gentleman Rich Fisher @ Division Tattoo in Madison Heights, Mi. http://www.DivisionTattoo.com I also worked for Lovely Dana @ The Lucky Monkey Tattoo in Ann Arbor Michigan, in the heart of the UofM campus. http://www.luckymonkeytattoo.com/ I presently reside in Bakersfield, Ca. for the past 2+ years. I first relocated to Evil Eye Tattoo to work with Gerret Memmering a former artist of Division Tattoo and Michigan native. http://www.EvilEyeTattooStudio.com Never really felt at home there so after 6 short months I took an offer from Jimmi V of Rev. Jimmi's Old School Tattoo. I spent 18 months working along side some great artists at this location. http://www.oldschooltat2.com 2009 I needed a fresh start in a new environment. Nick Manning opened "Pretty in Ink" and asked if I would join his team. I am currently at this location. http://www.myspace.com/prettyininkbodyartstudio
I presently have updated certifications in BloodBorne Pathogens, Standard First Aid, & CPR.
I have attended several industry related seminars through out my career. 2004 Steve's Haworth's "Successful Surface to Surface Piercing" 2006 Las Vegas, NV APP Conference attended 12 individual seminars. 2008 Columbus, OH Hell City Tattoo Festival, Steve's Haworth's "Successful Surface to Surface Piercing" & "Successful Genital Bead Placement" 2008 "Ink & Iron Tattoo Expo" aboard the Queen Mary, Shawn Dowdell & Trevor Thomas's "Dermal Anchor Seminar" 2008 "Sin City Tattoo Expo", Rob Hill's " Basic Piercing Fundamentals" & "Micro Dermal Anchor Seminar"
I will always continue my passion for the Art by continuously educating myself and attempting so stay on the top of my game.
I am interested in traveling & working with other knowledgeable Piercing Artists that i could learn from. I would like to have the opportunity to along side other piercers who share the same ethics as myself. And also be willing to work with other Piercers who like to learn my theories and techniques to improve themselves.
I am Drug & Drama Free. Responsible & Professional. I take my Job very Seriously and hope to anyone that may reply to this does the same.
Thank You for taking the Time to read this thread!
