Subject: Base Weblog
The new kitten
I'm sure many of you are sick of hearing about my new kitten.
I just want to spend a minute here telling everyone else that the day before fathers day my daughter found a 4 week old stray kitten and brought it home. She was starving - had worms - ear mites from hell and an upper respiratory infection that had crusted her eyes shut - she would have died within a day or 2 if she hadn't wandered out into a road where my daughter found her!
I had some doubts that she would make it but the vet spent an hour scrubbing her face and ears - and after only a week of antibiotics - eye ointment - ear drops and FOOD she is a frisky happy normal kitten!
Save a kitten !! - even if it has a snotty face and bony body it can come back to being adorable in week with care :) We LOVE her so much - and people who are mean to animals suck ... that's all !

The picture in the blog is from June 16th after the vet worked on her - and this is June 20th after a few days of meds and food! What a difference huh? lol
