so what if we got tattoos? |
Me and a friend have been talking about how people see tattoos and how they feel about them and in contrary to what he’s initially wrote, I wrote this piece on my observations on how some deal with inked people. This goes out to you.. you know who you are.. Well, here it goes..
My country's society has such fucked up views on people with tattoos.. well, maybe some are slowly accepting it but, yeah.. most of them still stare at you (especially if you’re female) and you’d guess what’s goin on in their minds.. *stares straight at u* you’d guess right, buddy. they’d think why waste skin on worthless ink and say you’re a drug addict or some thriller-dancing ex-convict from the provincial jail.. now, all that I can think of saying to u is – FUCK U! this ain’t ur skin and it’s not ur money I paid for this ink. (ok.. this goes in behalf of all my brothers and sisters in ink) This is art and this is our life. You could go watch some judy ann - piolo flick on the theatres and we don’t care. Why can’t you show us tattooed beings some respect? Please. We don’t give a shit whether you go hangout at paseo, autoshop or cabanas or some place else. We don’t care if you party like a rockstar *rolls eyes* but then again, let us be.
I know that even if I rant about this till the next century, defending us who belong to the realm of the inked, some people just wouldn’t understand because they’re stupid and close-minded.. like whenever they hear the word “tattoo”, they’d quickly tell u “eeewww.. yuuuccckkss.. that’s dirty.” Well again, fuck u. you and your worthless pea-sized brain is what’s dirty. Ok. I sound mean and I don’t intend to change your views or opinions about tattoos. It’s just that you don’t have to look at what’s physical in a person but rather look on what’s inside. Like, take this as an example.. if you were to choose between two persons: one has got tattoos covering his skin but is nice, caring, loving, smart (and prolly rich? Haha) while the other’s got no tattoos at all but is a fucked up kid who flunked out of college, is hooked on drugs and steals money for it (and maybe murdered his neighbor coz the fella caught him stealing his tv). Now which would u choose?
Whichever you chose, I leave it to you. And I’m tired of thinking about what more to say. It’s hard to write something on English when it’s not your primary language. This sucks. *sighs while scratching my head* Oh darnit. I rest my case. I have to go somewhere else and pick my nose..haha. whatever. End.

thank u. thank u. it's nice to that someone feels exactly the same way i 'm feeling right now. i just don't understand why the hell those people think bad about us, being judgemental and all..

| KEEP IN MIND THAT THERE WILL ALWAYS BE NARROW MINDED PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD. HOLD YOUR HEAD UP HIGH AND BE PROUD OF YOUR INK. FOR A FEW YEARS I LET PEOPLE HURT ME WHEN THEY SAID REALLY MEAN THINGS BUT NOW I JUST LOOK THEM IN THE EYE AND REMEMBER THAT MY INK IS BEAUTIFUL AND I REALLY DON'T GIVE A CRAP WHAT THEY THINK ABOUT ME. I PAY MY BILLS AND TAKE CARE OF MY FAMILY THEN GET MY INK SO IT'S REALLY NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS HOW MUCH MONEY I HAVE TIED UP N MY INK! |
