Punk Rock Picnic |
This is so cool, I wish that I was in California. We should totally have one in Minnesota:
Punk Rock Picnic™ is an all day event on May 17th, 2008 featuring 14 bands, motoX/quad freestyle exhibition and much much more! to help raise funds for a variety of autism research, advocacy, and support organizations and build awareness about autism. A complex neurobiological developmental disorder that lasts throughout a person's lifetime, Autism affects one in every 150 children, with a child diagnosed every 21 minutes. Today, there is no known cause or cure. FHQ Industries is partnering with Finding Away Foundation & Rockers for Autism to rally the Orange County scene of artists and fans in support of this great cause. Come out and join us for this all ages show at beautiful Irvine Lake, Silverado, CA. Hope to see you there!

Up here in Canada we have two great events similar to that. One is in the mountains and is called "Naughty Camp" and the other is held at my friend Spiders "Anarchy Acres" a punk rock campground. To see pics and get more info go to http://www.dirtybird.org
