First in Line for Last Place is line drawings collected from flash, sketches, and customer artwork by tattoo artist Charles Galante.Working under the alias Faith in Ink, Chuck tattoos,paints , draws flash , and has self published his first sketch book. Currently enrolled at Buffalo State College, Charles is earning a bachelors of fine arts degree and then plans on attending the Dallas Institute of Arts for his masters. Charles can be found tattooing at Buffalo's own Madd Grafix located at 67 Elmwood ave. and Maddtat2 located at 1115 Elmwood ave. in Buffalo. He is an avid fan of 1940s/50s pin up art, old school tattoos,
Kustum Kulture , and psychobilly music. His own art can be best described as a fusion of old school and new combining the simple elegance of classic American tattooing themes with the bold lines, bright colors and chaos of modern tattooing.
