I... my name is Chris own and operate SPARXWORX Custom Tattoo in Casper, Wyoming at 136 South Center Street, right next store to Sonic Rainbow (the shop for CD's in town)... a shop I started 15 years ago in Sterling Co. and has seen life a few times since then... but not like this. I came to Casper from Color The World in Boulder to help an old friend start his shop. Long story short ...I bought him out and I'm staying... because I found a lot of really creative/working people up here and am kickin out more career advancing work than I did in 23 years in the Denver/Boulder market. FREAKIN ROCKIN! I can't believe it. We're 2000 sq ft. in the middle of downtown Casper. We've had to move twice in 2.5 years because of growth (if I find myself needing more than 2000sq ft. I'll quit...I'm going crazy already!)
3 stations 96 square feet each, stainless steel sinks in each station, a forth station in the plans.
WHAT TO EXPECT Getting Tattooed at SPARXWORX Custom Tattoo:
We try to get you in as fast as we can without shorting the Art.
APPOINTMENTS and WALK-INS:
We are currently (as of 09/15/2008) able to take some walk-ins mostly weekdays Call (307-237-3342) first. Appointments depending on type of ARTWORK from 2 days to 2 weeks sometimes a little longer . NO deposits on appointments.
CUSTOM WORK: is just that we do not post pictures on the internet unless we have your permission and we destroy the pattern(s). "Sometimes" this work can get drawn fast and schedule you in fast but not always it depends on the level of ARTWORK and this requires an appointment.
FREEHAND CUSTOM WORK: FREEHAND means drawn right on your skin and this requires time these types of tattoos can vary in time and appointments are required for this. This requires a lot of time and dedication on your part.

About KOOLAID/CHRIS/OWNER:
I have been doing this for 26 years, 23 in the Denver/ Boulder, Colorado market. I pride myself on doing all styles from FREEHAND CUSTOM, COVERUPS, custom artwork, flash, old school, new school, fine line and the list can go on. Its just freakin me. For those who know me ... it's gettin old being either the only artist or the top artist (this hasn't) in a shop, it has been years of this arrrrrgghhhhh.
MY ARTISTS/Friend:
Tattooman/Dan: 12 years private clients only is a custom artist who pursues this for the art.He has the kind of job that not even tattooing will pull him away from .he works on his family and friends.
Chelsea Christian: chelsea is aii of 16 and her first three pieces were salable.. shes a natural...a prodigy...Mark this name ...shes gonna be huge(not to mention the fact that shes a hottie). She is the daughter of Dan christian ...one of our artists.

Jorey Elliston:Jorey is also out of the denver market and ive known him since he was at Dragonfly Nd he worked for me when i was managing Celebrity. Jorey is an artist with real vision and is approaching greatness. Also ... I have worked in isolation for so long that he is inspiring me to move forward whit my art... i was in danger of stagnating.
OPPORTUNITIES:
As you can well imagine the employment pool in this town of 60,000 is about 2 inches deep!!!
So I'm gonna do the guest spot thing ... this situation is prime for it. We still WANT GUEST ARTISTS.
If you've got ..........at least 10 years......a decent portfolio or web page...or....if you know me (than thats not neccesary)...the ability to travel and be portable ..lets talk. Or get into town stop by who knows you could fill the spot that has recently been vacated.
Money:
Right now we only except CASH, we hope to be changing this soon.

| Gotta say that I really have seen some nice work come out of your shop. I hear this and that about shops as I travel around. Then I guess its that way everywhere. I do like the work coming out of the shop. |
