| About 4 1/2 years ago Pete Stephens and I decided to open up a new shop in Centralia,Wa.Phantom Tattoo.Prior to that I was working at Olympia's Electric Rose Tattoo(owned by Pete Stephens and Jim Hillary) I had been there since day one...Nov.11,1989.Before that I was doing the usual punk rock "thing".......so I guess I've been tattooing since around 1983/1984...but professionally since 1989.For the last 18 years I have had the great fortune and privledge to work with the Seattle Tattoo Emporium Family of tattoo shops.All of the artists have in one way or another helped to shape me into the tattooist I am today.......good or bad.I HAVE NO REGRETS!!!!I love every one of them like a brother.My career is firmly rooted in the traditional ways of tattoo shops.I run a classic street shop...no appointment only system here.If I can get you in right then,I will.ALL of our apprentices(which are few and far between) serve a FORMAL APPRENTICESHIP....and we say Yes as much as possible.I am VERY dedicated to upholding the ways set before me by Tattooists such as Danny Danzl,Pete Stephens,Mike Malone,ect....Keeping the Faith since 1989.Keeping it Real FOREVER. |
