The egrets are incredibly graceful fliers. By the way, this image is actually composed of two rapid-file sequential shots I got of the same bird during take-off. I merged them into one image with software. Pretty cool, eh? |

It's always great to hear from you! Your new pictures and stuff are marvelous... I'm enjoying them very much. You are clearly getting better. It looks as though your 2008 is off to a great start and I hope it just keeps getting better!
Speaking of getting better, that was my grandmother's standard response to the question "how are you?". The thing is, she felt it and believed it. That's the way she lived. She was always getting better. She had a glorious long life, living healthy and active until she died at age 96. I was very close to her and she passed a lot of that spirit on to me. So yes, I'm getting better, too!
