I'm great! I moved back to NYC right by the beach and got an apprenticeship here, and I might be working in a retro diner where I get to dress up like Betty Boop everyday which I'm psyched about, haha!

| Haha funny thing...I acually do makeup but every time I go to a shoot as a MUA the photog asks me to either model for some pictures right there or come back another day to model. Whatever! As long as my portfolio is growing that's all I care about! I actually work my day job at a 1940's diner and I'm in fashion school :) What about you? |

I was reffering to you though in my last comment, if you lived here in the states I would reffer the hell out of you for photography. I help promote a lot of bands and you'd probably make a killing just on the local scene, especially in New York! |

I feel you. For me, a lot of places won't hire me because I'm over qualified and they don't want to pay me what I'm actually worth.
I sell my art work through myspace, and what's helped me a lot is being overlyconfident (which I am anyway, lol) about my art. When people catch that vibe they're actually more inclined to pay whatever you ask for. It's this weird trustfactor thing, I don't know why but it's worked for me! lol
People with talent deserve to be paid what they're worth :) |
