| I started my apprenticeship under Fred Giovannitti at Tatlantis Obscura in Las Vegas, where I currently work as a full time skin artist. I took an interest in art and drawing at a young age, heavily inspired by comic books, ninja turtles, and Patrick Nagel (don't ask). Tattoos have always intrigued me, and now that I have put my music career on an indefinite hiatus (that's industry terms for "it's over, unless there's a reunion show"), I am now in a place where I can focus on and dedicate my life to the medium of skin art. I did my first tattoo on myself in February 2009 and haven't stopped since. Outside of all that, I like to skate, snowboard, play music, listen to music, talk about music, if I could eat music, I would and I'm sure it would taste like a doughnut. I'm not a tough guy. My influences: Ralph Steadman, Zdzislaw Beksinski, Sebastian Kruger, Hermann Mejia, Edward Gorey, Jeremy Geddes, Dale Keown, Sam Keith, Norman Rockwell, John Singer Sargent, Phil Hale, Ashley Wood, John K, etc. |
