| ? My name is Marlene. I’ve been sober since May 12th, 2009 and I intend to keep it that way. I'm chill. I'm curious and full of questions. I once ended up in the E.R. when I was 5, because I cracked my head on the corner of my Grandpa's camper ladder trying to prove to my mom, "Look Mom! No hands!" Not cool, Mom was freaked out from what I’m told. I can be awkward, I don’t “get the hint” so I like “straight-out” types as friends. I get nervous easy, although I'm a pretty confident person. I have a degree in Business, which means, ONLY that I went to school for two years (in my case 4 years) lol. BTW, I LOL at everything!!! No joke! My parents are divorced. My mom, I Love her, she rocks pretty hard! I'm interested in lots of things, but because I have like 0 megabytes for memory, it just seems like I SAY I am. I observe and take things in and my mile-a-minute mind is just non-stop. Occasionally, I can pluck out one of those thoughts and make a sentence of the insanity that goes on in my head. I used to be really hard-hearted, but God's still working that out in me. I want to travel. I love to help. Sometimes wanting to help so much tires me out and wears me down. It's truly worth it though! I love water!!!! Fountains, waterfalls, the beach…holds my attention like a shiny object to a raccoon. I appreciate everything, even if I have to force myself sometimes, because one never knows when it will be gone. I hold people accountable the same as myself, but learning to do it in a spirit of gentleness. I stand true on my beliefs, trying hard to always be pure in thought and intention and giving of my heart and time. That’s me, straight O.G., so hit me up! |
