I'm an artist living in Land O Lakes, Florida. I apprenticed for almost 1 year at a Tampa shop and worked for the remainder of that year (2006) in a second Tampa shop. I am seeking a shop in either the Pasco or Hillsborough County areas where I can learn much more, work and grow as a tattoo artist. What I lack in actual tattooing experience I make up for with talent and a strong aptitude for the art form.
I'd like to find a cool, drama-free shop, with talented artists, where the owners or manager of the shop are looking for new talent.
Are you seeking an artist who has a strong, artistic and illustration talent, good people skills, is dependable, easy going, drug/booze free, drama free and loves tattoos and tattooing? That's me!
I have been an artist since high school and a professional free lance cartoon illustrator and caricature artist since 1977. And I attended the Art Institute Of Ft.Lauderdale (commercial art program) 1979-80 before having to move
back to Tampa because of a family crisis.
I'm a clean/neat person, have a good appearance, am organized and dependable. I have lived in Pasco County for the past 8 years, since meeting my wife, and prior to that have lived in Hillsborough County since 1969. I graduated from East Bay High School in Gibsonton, FL. I love the Tampa Bay area and plan to stay around for a while.
I can draw new and original flash. Work very well with the customer to help them create the perfect tattoo for them.
I have great drawing skills as well as being able to make the customer feel welcome and give them personal attention.
I am also very computer savvy, have Photoshop experience, am good at HTML editing and web page design and creation. If you could make use of my computer and web design skills I could also help as an in-house web guy as part of my contribution to the shop.
I can provide personal and professional references.
