| I've been professionally & consistantly tattooing for 25 years,and my last shop was a cozy little studio by the ocean.Dragonflytattoostudio@myspace.com. I am as they say 'retired'..but to me it means I no longer HAVE TO go to work to make money to pay shop bills so I can have a place to work to pay the bills! Fortunately 'by choice' I am simplifying my life,and making lots of money to buy more crap I don't need is NOT a priority anymore for me! I have traveled alot working Conventions over the years, England twice,and I'm always ready for another adventure and the chance to make new friends and learn...or teach! I am married..and have a son in Louisiana that I'm proud to say is a Dad and a Firefighter AND a singer/musician in 2 bands!CHOKE and THINGFISH. I am slowing down enough to have more time for myself to study and apply Buddhist phylosopys and to get back into welding & metel sculpting. Btw. I'm seriously contemplating moving to Wisconsin. yup. Getting it together..I SOoo miss the seasons.I should be there before the big snows.We found a great home with property to buy from the family....I'm so there! No more HAVING to go to work every day to survive! Hubby has a good guarenteed job with the U.S.PostOffice..so we are guarenteed a comfortable income and retirement! He is NOT afraid to deliver mail in 20 below..and I'm not afraid to be retired..nor of being married!! I've paid my dues and earned my life..anybody with an attitude..are just jealous! | I am able to do all styles of tattoo, but I enjoy realistic fineline, black & grey, and portraits. | i'll trade you one of my one off machines for the neons. all my money is going to a lawyer for my visitation/child support issue currently not to mention my 160 mile commute at $4.00/gallon gas . the machine is a collector item and does cross country moves easier than neons! |

Well hi there,, Its good to see you here.
Yes I'm lacking tattoo's on the arms. I'm waighting for the most bad ass artist that I can find to fill them in for me. It could be you , who knows!. But both legs , back , ribs and stomach are pretty much full.
Hope all is well in the orange state. I read your blog, I'm sorry to hear that you had such a shitty exsperiance. Some people just have no fucking respect. You know its people like that that are ruining this industry. People are scared to higher knew artist because they have been fucked over by the last one.
I run into it all the time. I travel alot and tattoo at different shops and I here the same story everywhere, Somebody got fucked over trying to help another artist in the industry. That really screws things up for the honest artist.
ANyway, good to hear from you,,, hope things are better.

Hey Happy Friday. How long have you been gone from this area? If you're looking for guest spots....try Neon Needle and I believe you'd need to talk to Steve. I know they have a page on IN. Also, I go to House Of Ink in Summerville. They don't have a page on here anymore. You can contact them through Jennifer Spencer's page (she's one of their great artists) or on the web (i think) at www.houseofink.com and you'd need to talk to Frank. Let me know if you come to town!

| Yes I work at Rickys. Ive heard of Choke because I think several of them have gotten work there. I work wed-sat and Id be glad to do some work on you. Next time your in town come by the shop, even if just to say Hi. It gets old only having a bunch of "dudes" to talk to about ink haha. |
