| I owned a tattoo-studio there in KCMO back in the 80's. The name of it was 'RoseRoyce' on Truman Rd.Ever hear of it?I guess I was the 1st woman to open there. When I went to apply for my license..they made me SOoo mad! They asked very snidley...'and what KIND of tattoos are you proposing to do?' I think they thought I was gonna do exotic tattooing AND massages or whatever. I told them 'The same KIND men tattooers do,you know,eagles and roses!' Jeeesh! Then I started calling discrimanation..and finially they granted me the license! I was good friends with Wes Grimm there. At the time there was me,Grimms and Illustrated Man.
