A: All of these items (chat, video recorder, webcam broadcaster) are Macromedia Flash applets and your browser is denying your access to them. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer you should also see a popup bar at the top of your browser window that has a little shield and the words "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer, Click here for options...". If you see this bar then click it and select the Allow Blocked Content option. |
| Q. I changed my profile info and/or my pics and I don't see the change when I view my profile? |
A: There is a page cache issue in your browser. When you go to view a page on the site your brower is showing you a previous version of that page it has already downloaded to your personal computer's hard disk and not going to the site servers over the internet to get the latest version of the page off the site. Try this if you use Microsoft Internet Explorer: First clear your browser cache: 1. go to the Tool menu and choose Internet Options 2. under Temporary Internet Files click the Delete Files button 3. check Delete all offline content 4. click OK button, note it could take several minutes to delete all of your cache files
Second check your page cache settings: 1. go to the Tool menu and choose Internet Options 2. under Temporary Internet Files click the Settings button 3. under Check for newer versions of stored pages select either Every time you start Internet Explorer, or Every visit to the page. You should never have the Automatically or Never option checked here. Lastly, close all open browser windows, then hit the site and see if your browser is properly downloading changed pages from the site. |

If you want to use a different username, you will need to delete your current membership and re-join under the other username you prefer. |

| Q. I can't login to the site on my mobile device? I can't login to the site with my mobile device that uses Windows Mobile version 5.0? |
| A: Mobile/handheld operating systems and internet browsers that run on them may not be as capable as the internet browsers you use on a personal computer. Specifically mobile devices may not be able to operate web sites that make use of JavaScript coding, like our website uses. It appears that Windows Mobile version 6.0 supports Javascript coding better than the previous versions but we have not tested it. The solution is to use a mobile device that has an internet browser that can run the same Javascript code that browsers on personal computers have able to run for many years now. |
