My 9 year old and I live alone, my boyfriend of 7 years broke up with me recently, so it's just my son and I. I raise a sweet smart tantrum throwing anxious kid who was recently diagnosed wiht Aspergers Syndrome. I'm always broke. I talk to my sister in California for several hours each day. I have few friends that I like, but the ones that I do, I like a lot. I'm an insomniac. I'm always tired. My family is mostly nuts and I live 2100 miles away from them. I'm an internet addict. Every day is a new day and I'm just trying to keep my head above water.

I'm also an insomniac. I have other GG friends(Gender or genetic girls as we trannys call real women) who have children with Aspergers. One of my GG friends on here Z has a son with Aspergers.
People don't realize that today it's one in every 150 births that is diagnosed with Aspergers.
They have difficulty with social skills and but are very intelligent especially in science and math. There is a great documentary on the subject which the name escapes me at the moment but I'll search for it and send it to you.
People who are different are always demonized. I know all to well. You will have to fight with school systems for your son but don't relent. He is as important as any other human being on this planet and may need some special attention and make sure he gets it in his education no matter what the school system says.
My wife Mini,who lives eslewhere but is a fabulous 5th grade teacher always takes the special children under her wing. The educational system views them as an added cost and a burden.
Don't let them minimize your son and fight for the things that are best for him and not the school system.
Albert Einstien was thought to have severe learning disibilities in grammar school. He did Ok didn't he? Hugs
